Siegfried Grimbeek
Co-Founder & Technical Lead
Siegfried brings 15+ years of digital architecture and engineering expertise to Matterhem. As Head of Frontend Development at BEERWULF and Frontend Architect at Miele X, he architected complex systems serving millions of users. His full-stack capabilities—from JavaScript and Vue.js to Node.js and database engineering—combined with his experience founding Howl Media, drive Matterhem's technical vision of seamless, intelligent home systems.
Tor Sigurd Son
Co-Founder & Design Director
Tor brings award-winning design expertise from a career spanning AAA game development at Rockstar Games and immersive VR experiences at Vertigo Games. His background in spatial design, user interaction, animation, and 3D visualization translates directly to creating beautiful, intuitive smart home environments where technology enhances rather than dominates your space.
Together, Siegfried and Tor bring complementary expertise to Matterhem—cutting-edge technical architecture paired with thoughtful, user-centered design. They founded Matterhem to prove that smart home automation doesn't require complexity.
